Survival kits: Shipwreck, plane crash and nuclear war, 1997

This is a three-channel video-installation, using three identical CRT video monitors with speakers. This work was made with the collaboration of my parents over the Christmas period of 1996. It was specifically made for the exhibition 'Hong Kong Island' at the Transmission Gallery, Glasgow in the January of 1997 and has subsequently been shown in numerous other exhibitions.
This work exists as an edition of 3 (+AP) and is represented in the public collection of the City of Kingston-Upon-Hull, at the Ferens Art Gallery. A short video clip of this work is hosted by the Ferens Art Gallery educational resources website accessible from this link.
